LaCross
Motorsports Entered in ARCA at Talladega
Cortland NY based LaCross Motorsports is putting
final touches on their #28 superspeedway car in
preparation for next weekend’s ARCA 250 at the
famous 2.66 mile Talladega Superspeedway. Everyone
is extremely excited because the team has a
guaranteed starting spot in the field of 41 cars.
That means they should get good TV coverage for
the 250 mile event to be televised live on SPEED,
on the same weekend as the NASCAR Sprint Cup
event.
LaCross Motorsports has a fleet of ARCA/K&N
Pro Series cars that they have racing since 2004
at places like Pocono Speedway, Kentucky Speedway,
New Hampshire Speedway, and testing at Daytona.
The upcoming race will be the team’s first try
at the high banks of Talladega. Team
owner/driver Brent Cross is really proud of his
small team of friends and family, which is
competing against development teams fielded by
some of the biggest organizations in NASCAR. This
is an opportunity to do something that most local
teams only dream about. The team intends to use
this event as a stepping stone to be able to
compete at Daytona next February.
Anyone interested in helping out the team in the
garage, at the track, or with financial support
please contact Brent at 607-591-5556.
